Every year, hundreds of thousands of applicants apply for admission to the top colleges in this country. Slightly more than 10% of these applicants receive that coveted letter of acceptance, while the vast majority, including those with excellent academics and plenty of APs get rejected.
The top colleges want applicants who are passionate, intellectually curious and willing to stretch outside their “comfort zones.”

The Mentorship Program is a year-long program for 9th, 10th and 11th graders who aspire to attend a highly selective college.
Mentorship will help you:

We help you put aside your self-doubt to foster a positive mindset that builds up your confidence and determination to pursue your goals and passion.

We methodically work with you to discover your true passion, whether it is in an academic subject, sport, hobby, community service or other activity. We provide you with the support you need to realize that passion and take it to the next level.

The colleges want original and authentic people. You must present yourself to the colleges in a consistent way that genuinely reflects who you are. We help you discover your authentic “you” so that you can articulate your personality, values, characteristics and qualities in clear terms to the colleges.

In addition to passion, the colleges highly value your intellectual curiosity. We help you identify your academic interests. We help you find ways to express that interest through research assistant positions, internships and other activities.

The Ivy League and elite colleges highly value a student’s ability to handle tough classes. They also value students who are willing to stretch themselves intellectually and take the tough classes. We help you select a course schedule that demonstrates both an ability and a willingness to stretch yourself academically.

Each call is 30 minutes long and will focus on coaching and support to help you achieve the goals of the Mentorship Program

Whether you choose a capstone project or a passion project, we will support you with both conceptual and practical ideas to make your project stand out.

We help you select and apply to appropriate summer programs that establish your academic credentials in a subject that interests you. Application support limited to 2 summer programs.
